I highly recommend this experience. From the moment we entered the hotel and were escorted to the grill room, to the friendly reception by the young lady who checked us in, we were treated like royalty. Our server, Shekhar, was extremely attentive. The staff even acknowledged my wife's birthday and brought out a cake while singing happy birthday to her, making her feel truly special. The afternoon tea was exceptional, with delicious and fresh sandwiches, as well as incredible cakes. They made sure to make us feel special, especially on my wife's birthday, and we can't wait to return. We plan to bring our adult children back for a special treat. Thank you Cafe Royal, and a special thanks to Shekhar, our waiter.

We came for Afternoon Tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday and she was made to feel SO special. We had a fabulous table near the pianist and were made to feel like the most important people in the room. Our host was very attentive and knowledgeable about the history of our beautiful surroundings and gave wise advice on which of the many teas to try. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a truly delicious afternoon tea. The Earl Grey jelly was inspired and I think the sandwiches may be the best we’ve ever had!

My husband surprised me with afternoon tea at Cafe Royal for our first wedding anniversary. Though it is a bit pricey, it is truly worth it for the experience. The ambiance is breathtaking and the service is top-notch. Our host, David, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about all the teas. I would highly recommend it as a special treat.

We were served by two lovely gentleman’s Showmo and Gift who looked after us so well. They both were so attentive and friendly. Very knowledgeable. I will be recommending this afternoon tea to my family and friends. All staffs were fantastic and willing to show us around. We had an amazing experience. Thank you to all the staffs yesterday especially Showmo &Gift.

Had a wonderful first time experience with Afternoon tea at Hotel Cafe Royal The food and knowledge of tea was amazing they even have their own tea sommelier! The service from our waiter Shekar was impeccable The interior is beautiful and historical
