Bidra med feedbackEvery time we went out with my man's best friend, we always ended up at this terrible restaurant. Even fancy events of this kind were hosted here! I cannot comprehend how this place still exists in a city like London. The mayor should inspect it himself, starting with the trash inside the premises. Food sits in the display for days, so don't be lured in by the low prices. The restaurant across the street is just as bad, and the one in Queensway is no better.
This restaurant has two branches located close to each other on Edgware Road. The second branch, near Edgware Road metro station, is quieter. The food is decent in quality, but could be improved if the owner focused more on their native Arabic cuisine. Instead, the menu offers a variety of halal American and Asian dishes, ranging from burgers to dishes from Central Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. This focus on catering to Muslim tourism trade results in a confusing and eclectic menu, taking away from the restaurant's main draw of high-quality Arabic food. Despite this... Jack of All Trades and Master of None. This company has two branches in close proximity to each other on the Edgware Road. This branch, close to the Edgware Road Tube Station, is quieter. The food is of a decent to good quality, but could be better if the owner focused on his/her native Arab cuisine. Instead, they have a myriad of halal American and Asian dishes, ranging from Burgers to Middle-Eastern foods to South-East Asian; in order to cash in on the Muslim tourist trade in the area. This results in a confusing and bizarre menu, with the onus being taken away from providing quality Arab food the primary reason why most customers go there in the first place. However, the portions are generous and well priced. There are also good value meal deals, providing a good option for those on a budget. The Lamb and Chicken Shawarma's are both nice but could be more flavoursome. This is generally the problem with most of the dishes here. The hummus is good and the complementary bread, olives and pickles are a nice touch. Admittedly, I was unsure as to whether to give this eatery a score of or I may have been slightly harsh in deciding on Asianhawk says: Unless you are on a budget, try one of the many other Arab eateries nearby. Halal.
Every time we went out with my husband's best friend we had no choice but to end up in this DUMP.Even this guy's wedding reception was held here !!!I really don't understand how in a city like London such places are allowed to exist. The Mayor should go and check it out himself, starting with the rubbish inside the lavatories.Food stays in the counter DAYS , please do not get attracted by cheap prices. The other one down the road is in the same condition and the one in Queensway is no better.
If Gordon Ramsay had visited this restaurant, he would have shut it down. The food was subpar, poorly cooked and badly presented. It was difficult to even cut the meat. The dishes looked like they were thrown haphazardly onto the plate. The father at the table behind me was making disturbing noises that made it seem like he was going to be sick. Additionally, there was no glass provided for the soda I ordered, and I ended up paying for a disappointing experience.
