Bidra med feedbackAmazing food at a great price. We received plenty of complimentary starters before we even ordered, such as bread, hummus, and salad. I ordered the Iranian kebab, which was incredibly large. I left feeling completely full and only paid £16. The restaurant was very busy while I was there, and even hours later when I walked by on my way to catch the tube, there was still a long line stretching out to the entrance. It's definitely worth a visit if you can get a table!
This restaurant is absolutely stunning, offering authentic and delicious Iraqi kebabs, a delightful salad, flavorful soup and chickpeas, and ending with a delicious Iraqi tea. The staff is polite, attentive, and highly professional.
I visited Azmar in March 2018 while on a local photoshoot and was impressed by the warm welcome, delicious food, and great value. I wrote a glowing review and mentioned that I would return with my wife and mother. Despite the passage of time and the challenges brought on by various viruses, we finally made it back to Azmar after driving past it on the A5 numerous times. The hospitality, flavors, and portion sizes were just as wonderful as I remembered. This restaurant is truly a gem, and I hope it won't be another four years before we come back again!
This is THE best Middle Eastern food I have eaten in London. Customary Middle Eastern hospitality and generosity coupled with authentic ‘home-cooked’ style Iraqi Kurdish food is what is on offer. The menu is wide and varied and includes vegetarian options. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. My meal, flavoursome Chicken Kuzi with a choice of cut, included several complimentary dishes, including tea (chai) and baklavas to finish. Service is friendly, efficient and attentive. This small unpretentious restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. This is a great find and will be my go-to place for exceptional Iraqi Kurdish food. Very highly recommended.
Excellent quality and taste of kabab. Although the place is small and often crowded, the service is speedy, the the food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. If you really want to know the Kurdish/Iraqi cuisine, you should definitely try Azmar.
