Le Perche - City of Hudson

Overcooked, overheated and overpriced. My duck hash had little to no duck in it. The potatoes were burnt and the poached egg overcooked $26). The egg sandwich for $15 is a joke. The restaurant has no air conditioning so it's like an oven. Not a great experience.

We were here for lunch. The entire place if so hot. There is no air con, no fan. Not fun while trying to eat food in the summer. The duck confit had very little duck in it and the potatoes were kind of burnt. You expect more when you pay top dollar for an entree. The service was nice. The drinks were good.

Brunch was not bad, different. I liked the Curried Lentil with poached eggs, but it was undercooked, as they rushed to bring my dish out while everyone else was halfway done with their food. The croissants were definitely not fresh and hard to separate to eat; kinda disappointed as it is a French spot.

THIS PLACE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE PROPER CROISSANTS! a real super flaky amazing masterpiece of French baking technique. If you feel like a little Paris without the travel, just go here for a croissant
