Albergo Trattoria Da Baffo

I was recently riding the motorbike on a lovely Saturday in the lovely Rieti area. We decided to head from Rieti towards L'Acquila on the back roads and at about lunch time we stopped at this place. Unbelievable!!! From the welcome and hospitality, to the cold water and draught beer and then to the food and even to the bill (28 Euro for 2 people) this place is fantastic!!!!! We both had local sausages grilled to perfection plus some chips and green salad with a coffee to follow. The signora Silvia really made us feel at home and most of the other diners were locals which is always a good sign. Well worth finding.

After the holiday, on the way back I and my family stopped to have lunch in this trattoria. All good, especially pecora roasts with fried potatoes. The lady who welcomed us very kind and nice. I hope to return...
