Antica Osteria La Muda Di San Boldo Dal 1470

What a wonderful cosy local inn!!! It is superbly refurbished and true to its building history. Food and wine great, simple but excellent quality dishes. Great friendly service, the couple who owns the place run it very well. I will certainly return. Open fireplace locally called LARIN and a beautiful fireplace on the adjacent room. For me simply perfect and full of character.

We happened across this lovely little place on a ride in the morning. We returned for dinner and we were not disappointed. It was the best meal I have had so far in my holiday. Amazing food and service. Lovely wine. Cannot fault it. Just perfect. Rabbit was the best. Would definitely recommend

What do you want in a meal? That it looks attractive? Sure. That it is unholy expensive? For some, it seems. That it tastes heavenly? Definitely!! This modest Osteria at the crest of a saddle pass accessed from the south by a series of hairpin bends is just perfect. A very limited menu means you try stuff you might not have considered otherwise. It alternated when we we there (three times in ten days! between two menus, but this also changes with the seasons. The atmosphere is very rustic and homey. One of the most enjoyable eating experiences I can remember. Extremely highly recommended!

With that Magnificent Bracere in the center of the room, I would have expected some photos of Sausage and Costicine to Brace and maybe a Good Maialino to the Spiedo... It would be an exalting presentation!!!
