Lucky is the right choice for you if you want to spend a few euros more on high quality food. It may be necessary to reserve a seat. If you order a large main dish, you usually get a free appetizer, some bread and a small dessert for free. The main dish is a little oversized for my taste, so you better get hungry. Food quality is good. I suggest you order steaks.

We visited as a young couple in our late twenties on a quiet summer evening. The waiters were very welcoming and charming people and happy enough with our unpracticed German language skills. We had a nice white wine and an amazing on-the-table freshly brewed ice tea. After ordering starters and main course, we received some good bread and a light tasty apperitif on the house (I suspect as a comfort for our broken German! . We had some nice Minestrone and Fishsoups, and then followed the best dish I have tasted here: their Studentenpfanne was simple pork medallions in a mushroom sauce with fried potatoes and green beans, but cooked to perfection in every way. The waiters were attentive and charming with good stories, but also gave us space to enjoy the food and our own company. We got a small dessert on the house before we left in a fantastic mood having had a wonderful evening at Glück Auf .
