Bidra med feedbackSitting here thinking about how much I crave bamboo house food and thinking about the good times that I have spent there with family. I love bamboo house definitely the best food in circleville. And the owners are amazing.
On a positive note, the flavors of the food were excellent. The Kung Pao chicken featured real chunks of chicken breast, which is a refreshing change from the typical slimy pieces you often find at other Chinese restaurants. The veggie lo mein was packed with a great variety of vegetables and tasted fantastic. The rice was good, and the crab Rangoon, though small—about the size of a ping pong ball—was tasty. The wonton soups were about a cup each, containing just two small wontons. Unfortunately, based on the portion sizes relative to the cost, I likely won’t be returning. For $40, I could easily feed my family of five at Great Wall in Groveport.
This restaurant can be inconsistent; it really varies depending on the night and the staff. For the prices they charge, it's not quite what you might expect. However, it's the best option you'll find in Circleville. If you're willing to drive into Columbus, you can find much better alternatives for the same price.
The restaurant has been closed for some time now, but it will always be my all-time favorite Chinese place.
This restaurant is fantastic! I didn't expect to find such a gem in Circleville, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a big fan of the Wor Sue Gai!
