Me and my sisters rented a car for the day in Porto and drove to the Douro wine region. Based on the revieuws we ended up having lunch at this place and were not dissappointed. Fresh food, big portions, good local wine, affordable, cherries from the trees opposite the restaurant as an extra. Super friendly staff who spoke excellent english. What could one ask for more? Great find, higly reccommended.

We came here by chance on our way from Quinta da Pachega to Ribadouro. What a surprise a real nice place to be, excellent meal (polvo with good side dishes). The owner is a very nice and friendly guy. All together it was a very good experience excellent quality price balance. Thank you, everyone who is on the way should stop here!!

Friendly staff. Home made chicken stock like my mother made it. Polvo absolute tender and tasteful. Great pasta. Modern Portugese interior. All at an acceptable price.

Fresh, satisfying food served in generous portions, homemade wine, quaint beautiful surroundings and genuinely friendly and pleasant staff. All of this makes us want to return here again!
