Donatos Pizza - Cincinnati

After being away from the city for 5.5 years, I was thrilled to discover that Red Robin's in Arizona had started serving Donato's Pizza - a taste of home for me. Now that I am back home, I am excited to have Donatos conveniently located down the street.

This is my second time ordering from this restaurant and needing a DoorDash delivery due to a lack of delivery drivers. The first time was in January 2022 and the food arrived an hour late and cold in all three boxes. This time, as of typing this review three hours after placing my order on 2/25/22, the order still hasn't arrived from DoorDash. I have been on hold with Donatos and DoorDash trying to get a refund because I am unsure where the pizza could be three hours later, but it definitely wouldn't be safe to eat. Kara from Donatos gave me a store credit as a resolution, which was appreciated. An update to the review: I returned last night to use the store credit given for the previous issues, and everything was cooked well and the customer service was great. My advice to others is to avoid ordering delivery if Doordash is involved and there are no drivers available. Thank you to Donatos for making things right with the store credit. It would have been a 5/5 review, but it was inconvenient to have to pick up the order to use the credit.

I placed an online order last night for delivery to my workplace for lunch today. The pizzas arrived on time, hot, and delicious. Great job, Western Hills! The only downside was that the driver did a contactless delivery instead of the usual method, so I wasn't able to give a cash tip. Thank you for being cautious during the pandemic, and I will make sure to stop by the restaurant on my way home to give a tip in person.

KNOXVILLE, TN Delicious pizza, calzones, and salads. Very friendly and helpful staff. The young man, delivery driver, was great.
