Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I just went to Asiana Hyde Park Thai and Sushi and were pleased. The owner was very friendly and greeted us with a big smile. We found out about the restaurant through Zomato and saw that it had a high rating, so we decided to check it out.I ordered the sushi and my wife got the Pad Thai. We shared an order of the Crab Rangoon. The Crab Rangoon came first and this was the best I've ever had and I've had plenty. This had fresh not imitation Crab in it. The Pad Thai was good however we ordered a level 2 spicyness and it was sort of bland, so you might rethink your spicyness level. Now, the Sushi I will say was very pleasing to the eye, but it was way too small. These rolls were about the diameter of a quarter and half the thickness of most Sushi I get. I am more used to rolls more in the half dollar diameter or bigger. They tasted great but my take away was the bang for your buck aspect since the prices were regular prices but for smaller amounts. One last thing that we noticed is the water they serve is standard tap water. By now you would think all places would serve filtered water. It doen't cost much the add a water filter. All-in-all we liked the place and will go back again.

Everything a restaurant should be, stopped for the first time today at lunch. I was greeted by a friendly helpful waitresses. I assumed she was the owner but not sure. I started with an iced tea. Fantastic, very fresh clean and just delicious. I ordered the Tom yum Kooch soup (not sure of spelling). Two big wild shrimp, perfect heat and good balance of flavore. For the main dis it was pork and green beans. Very simple very delicious. What a gem.
I used to live around the corner from here and this was my go to Thai spot. Maybe that's why I've never reviewed it. I took it for granted! I was in the area, and stopped by for shrimp pad thai to go. It was hot and ready and the woman who greeted me was super warm. I loved the presentation: Colorful and pretty. They forgot to add a fork to the bag, so all the way home I had to fight the temptation of putting my hand in to get a taste, lol! Once I made it home I was able to enjoy the amazing flavor. It was light with minimal spice I'm not about that life . The Shrimp were huge, and flavorful, but they left the tails on. I found this out the hard way *crunch* Its all good. Great meal, good portion!
Great Lunch. Absolutely love this place. My sister and I went for lunch one day after reading the mostly good reviews and I am now obsessed with this hole in the wall. Not going to lie... it looks a little worrisome from the outside, but it 's a perfect example of 'dont judge a book by its cover. ' The lunch menu is large, the lunch special is an even better deal, a noodle dish with a side of one small sushi roll (6 pieces) for $7/$8. I got pad thai with a spicy tuna sushi side and it was delicious! I can 't wait to go back for lunch. Can 't comment on dinner.. haven 't been yet. One tiny complaint is that our waitress wasn 't exactly what I would call 'friendly. ' Still, she got the job done.
