If you are looking for the real Spanish food/drink experience, this is the place. Full stop. Don 't let yourself be tricked by anywhere that says tapas in the menu, raciones is what you are looking for. This bar is a transgenerational statement of Spanish town traditions and food puritanism. The food is far beyond outstanding, often made from home grown veggies, the beer is only made 20 miles away, and the wine is from next door town Jumilla. Personal favourite, Michirones, a mouth watering traditional Murcian dish made out of dried broad beans jamón, and paprika (hot or mild) that will make anyone cry out for the Spanish citycenship, all of which washed down by no less than a litre (two pints mate,two pints) of cold as the heart of your ex estrella de levante beer.
