Scatchells Beef and Pizza - Cicero

I'm pretty sure I ate five beefs with cheese and hot peppers within eight days. And I want two right now. Go. Now. The pizza is also good and the deal during the week is pretty dang reasonably.

The restaurant is new, nice and clean. The service seemed fine when I went. Friendly and brief just like most beef joints. I was surprised how small it was. They do slice the beef thin and provide a good amount of beef in the sandwich. However the beef seemed just ok, sweet peppers lacked flavor. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. The fries were large but well undercooked.

Beef was a bit watered down. And hot gardiner was tuff to crunchy. Fries undercooked. This is my place for 40 years when they were on laramie and 23rd. It pains me to say this about a cicero institution that I have champion as the best beef in the world. I have sent 100s of people here and spent in 40 years 10,000 plus easily. Please fix it... please please please.

Food was very good and the service was excellent. Would definitely go back again.
