Churchill Hotel Motel

This is what I sent to the Churchill Pub on 17/7/17. Two weeks and still no reply.My wife and I attended Churchill hotel for a meal with six other people on 14/07/17 for dinner. I had a Parma which I did'nt finish . It was very dry and unappealing, I can only assume that the item was frozen to begin with. I made mention to a young girl that cleared the table of my opinion of the meal and she said that she would pass it on. I never had any one approach me before I left regarding this. A bit disappointing.Another young lady had a steak which was very dry and over cooked. Because of her nature, she was unwilling to make any comment to the Staff.Could I have your comments on this

Since recently moving here to study at the uni we go to the pub once or twice a week since February and almost every time after the meal we will go and have a few bevies on the bar side. Me and the girls always have the same complaint every time we go and it has come to the point where we leave the bar if we see the bar manager on. When he takes our orders it doesnt look like he is listening always asking to repeat it. If we have cocktails or if theres a few of us out he takes ages to get it done and their usually pretty nasty looking. He has been caught more than a few times staring at us and overall creeping me out. Me mate overheard him call out to the cute bartender and point at us. And if the one with the dreads walks in they spend so much time chatting and flirting that the tables are left unattended to and customers pile up at the bar. I dont normally do this but we were talking about going on satday when we were deciding on whether or not to go to the pub for pre drinks. we didnt just in case he was on. Sad bcuz weve heard gr8 things about the bar like sick cocktails and bottle spinning. Also the fire is never lit and if you ask he raises his hands and says theres not enogh people. No wonder

The venue is modern clean and spacious. The staff were very good with orders tables service and clearing. The food was normal hotel food and nothing out of the ordinary. Meals came with chips and salad. The smallest bowl of mainly cucumber, onion and lettuce, salad I don't think so. Maybe the American BBQ nights are better?

A group of us just had lunch at this pub and really enjoyed the food.The service was a little slow as they had another large group in and not a lot of staff working in the kitchen. One of the serving staff did apologize for the long wait which was nice, but they possibly need to consider this as like us most people only have an hour for lunch and our meal was only served after 45 mins.Once the food arrived the meals were very nice, so it was worth the wait but I would definitely think twice next time if I only had an hour for lunch.Definitely worth a try.

I am proud to call this my 'local' pub! I come here every Tuesday evening for their Parma nights. The Churchill Hotel serve a different Parma every Tuesday alongside their regular Tuesday Parma menu. If your find yourself here on a night other than Tuesday they have other specials as well as a diverse regular menu incorporating a flavoursome smokehouse selection.The staff are always friendly and polite. For the children there is a playground and small selection of paid games (toy claw, etc).See you on Tuesday!!
