You require that you register on a tablet with your name and personal information to eat here. I asked if it was necessary to eat and pay money, the hostess said yes. So I said thank you and went to Rubios who took my money.
It is called Max's Chicken for a reason, so word of advice? Get everything kicked! Everything else is not so good! I am Filipina american and I can tell you that her laing (Taro Leaves In Coconut Milk) tasted and looked like dew with almost no coconut milk! You should have kept her pinacbet on the menu instead of on the laing! Your Lumpiang Shanghai (Egg Roll) can be delicious when you have cooked and ate in the restaurant, but if it is delivered at home, it will be stale. Ensaladang Talong (Eggplant Salad) did not come with Bagoong, so it was disappointing and there were so many eggplant seeds. The winning court is the Crispy Pata (Krispy Pork Hock)! 100 percent that is the only thing I order if I don't feel how it cooks itself! And of course the Max's Chicken is delicious! Just Chicken and Cripsy Pata! Everything else just doesn't feel good to eat. If you want to go some delicious ready to eat, go to Jochi?s Resto Grill on Orange Ave
Bought sisig crispy pork, Kare Kare, and whole roasted chicken. Sisig consisted of old left over meat and tasted like it spoiled pork. Kare Brühe tasted as if it came from a packed sauce, not fresh at all. Only part of the meal to be redeemed is the chicken that is ok, but salty. Everything was overpriced and definitely not worth it. I'm disappointed when I've eaten here and it wasn't that bad. You better go to the national town if you want good Filipino food. Not recommended.
Visited here recently again. Still a very pleasant place to get your Filipino food cravings satisfied. Despite the workforce crunch the service industry is experiencing, the service here remains top notch and with a smiling face. Good job Maneth!
