Italianissimo Trattoria - Chula Vista

It was a present surprise! I was not expecting such a nice experience.

I enthusiastically recommend Italianissimo Trattoria (323 Third Ave, Chula Vista CA, 91910) special thanks to Leontina’s hospitality. Amazing service and the quality of food and professionals added to the atmosphere. I highly recommend the pasta especially Spaghetti Bolognese (meat sauce) with Salsiccia (Italian sausage) There is a sneaky wine selection that pairs perfectly with or without an entrée. I did two glasses; Cabernet Sauvignon and a Merlot. Centrally located in the vibrant 3rd Avenue. Family atmosphere. Dining alone, no problem. Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide and accessible. Ground level. I would call ahead for reservations to ensure table availability.

Had a lovely dinner for 2 here. I got the Calamarata and my partner got the lasagna. They have a whole section of the menu for vegan food. Our meals were delicious! The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was intimate and not too loud.

It was expensive but poor service and just ok food for the cost barely made it home (4) miles away with diarrhea Still having cramping. Nit returning. Rushed to get us to leave 5 times and only there 45 minutes. Vegetarian options: Poor service no returns to refill tea fie example.
