Filippi's Pizza Grotto - Chula Vista

We use to be customer at this location but in the past 5 months there service is horrible. this are some of the things we experience at the chula Vista location. the waiter spill spaguetti on my brand new jacket, filippis refuse to pay for the damages. in one of our visits we place our order long before some of the other families place there order, those families were serve first then us. i complaint to the female manager she did not care. then in our last visit a week ago, our food was serve COLD. again i complaint and management didn’t care. we notice one thing if you are white you get great service but if you are any other color you are treated like garbage. we no longer recommend this place avoided if you can,there are better places out there that care about there customers. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK PERIOD.

Great service (Mary), but kitchen has dictated this review. When a duck comes out 5-10 minutes after the order (lasagna), simply had a feeling that could be a problem. It was best warm and the final responsibility falls on the server. Shade on kitchen for the server look bad! Three years ago was 4 out of 5 stars. No excuses for avoiding, check your equipment or use microwave!

Mary was our waitress. She was sweet, a real sweetheart? Cake? Quickly efficient, did the menu and selection of beers know? I had the Calzone, Canadian bacon? Very good. She also picked me a beer, Modelo l. Reminds me of Italian food in New York.

My friend wanted to go to Imperial Beach, that was closer. She likes the other better; the food tastes better... its words.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. If you like a thick pizza that has a lot of cheese, but doesn't look greasy at all, that's your place. Her seafood pasta was also excellent. Your servers are super friendly and their free parking is huge!
