Southern Spices - Christchurch

One of the best South Indian restaurants in nz. really authentic eating. have the fish fry, bark roast meat and parottas. absolutely brilliant. Waiting times are on the higher side, but it is worth the freshly prepared food. the personal is friendly! love it, keep the good workers up!

Really fantastic boutique southern indian dine in restaurant or takeaway. I thought I knew Indian cuisine / west curry classic, but I found southern spice had a refreshingly unexplored side of Indian cuisine and after talking to the captain at the theke, which had clearly a passion for eating, put me on a main meal and fitting the corresponding bread. it was amazingly loved every bit of him I tried to save some for lunch the next day. it has not lol. I am looking forward to trying back more

One of the Kerala restaurants in Christchurch. I like some of the dishes like kappa biriyani, beef roast. I felt like it is bit expensive.

Good atmosphere.. A complete family restaurant.. The staff of the restaurant are very likable and polite... incredible food taste. highly recommended.

I just had some of the spicy chicken fried rice for lunch and it was amazing. Tasted super fresh and was cooked really quickly with just the right amount of spice. The staff were friendly and even held the door for me. Will be back
