Cafe 218 - Christchurch

Phone-booking ahead and call was taken by very friendly staff. Unfortunately, although the table was not fortunately the opposite, there was one available. both ordered the Thai fish with kumara chips that arrived in time. beautifully presented. my man was happy with his but my fish and the kumara chips were a bit over cooked and just spoil the taste. ends the visit with two lattes in cups thanks to quality so hate the caffes that want to serve latte in a glass that does not keep the heat.

Coffee was great, food is expensive. I wanted something savoury, the pie was $13 even without the bit of salad on the side. I ended up with a burnt peanut cookie.

This place is my go to lunch spot during the week. Every time it’s consistent great food and service. The staff are lovely and I look forward to coming in when I can. Keep up the great work. Cheers

Great place for a delicious coffee after a hard day of Moorhouse Ave shopping. Their all day lunches are very affordable and incredibly substantial. They also have a generous assortment of mouthwatering cabinet food. The staff are an absolute delight.

Amazing place , amazing service, and amazing food! Please implement a loyalty card or some sort of! I would love eat your meals for dinner! Uber eats? Can I have the first loyalty card please?
