The Little Lantern - Chorley

This restaurant used to be a hidden gem, but the quality of the food has declined. The staff at the counter are defensive and made several errors with our orders. They gave us the wrong types of meat and charged us for items we didn't receive. There was no apology for their mistakes. We will not be returning, as there are many other great dining options nearby.

The food at this restaurant is decent, but when I mentioned my allergy, the staff seemed unaware of the ingredients in the dishes. The server was also unwilling to double-check for me.

The food at this takeout place is tasty, but it is pricey for the amount you receive and the portion sizes are small. I enjoy spicy food but was let down by the lack of chili in the dish I selected. Additionally, one of the sauces we ordered was very thin, almost like colored water. Overall, I left feeling somewhat disappointed.

Chinese takeaway can often be a bit lacklustre. Not so here. I've always been impressed with what I've ordered baring in mind the price. This is our go to Chinese takeaway. Excellent! Friendly owners too.
