A proper pub. Not many proper pubs left now. Great selection on the bar too

Great traditional friendly local pub good choice of cask ales (all were in great condition and fairly priced) and cheerful attentive staff

Very welcoming owners, even asked us to join them for a drink. We were travelling in our campervan and they let us stay in the car park overnight. We were too late to get any food but the menu looked amazing so will definitely try that next time we are up this way. Drinkers in the pub were friendly asking us about our travels. Would definitely come back again!

Good day was had by all for my brothers 60th birthday, couldn't fault it.

Nice pub. Real people used to gather their. Perfect host.
