Han Ok Jip - Chonju

It seems like a warm home house, the food is clean and I believe it is yourself at home.

Had such a great meal here. Two orders of marinated pork galbi was perfect for a starving foodie. The spread was generous. Most of the banchan seemed seasonal and were new to me. The eggplant stood out, the kimchi was fire, and the doenjang was unlike any I have ever had. Knowing some Korean is essential here; the sajangnim warmed to me when I told her I loved her doenjang, and she explained they make it there (in the hangari out front). Maybe one of the best meals/experiences I’ve had in Korea. Go if you want something that tastes really homey or if you want to step off the tourist path for a spell!

The place is a traditional style setting. Feels like home... With great home style food, you will definitely eat alot!!! The food is delicious as well

오랜만에 방문인데 여전했습니다 돼지갈비를 먹었는데 충청도의 석갈비처럼 돌판에 양파를 깔고 구운 갈비를 올려서 내줍니다 홍어탕도 메뉴에 있어서 식당 가득히 홍어탕 냄새가 베어있습니다 반찬도 정갈하고 물김치 백김치 파김치 얼갈이 김치 등등 김치종류가 많고 다른 반찬도 다 정갈하고 맛있었습니다 식후 디저트는 셀프 식혜입니다

돼지숯불갈비 맛있다. 반찬도 다양해서 좋았다. 특히 전주에 온 느낌 물씬. 굿
