Bidra med feedbackThe menu was excellent and we really enjoyed the roe deer liver. Like many pubs at the moment, it was understaffed and so it took an hour to be served our meal they told us there would be a delay but it was longer than expected. But itâs a lovely pub so a few drinks and good conversation helped pass the time.
The food was excellent and we would eat there again. in general, the plough would consider a great native. the waitress was really attentive and helpful. the seat bench of the church was somewhat rustic and unpleasant for a longer evening. my only criticism was that I just asked to demand as much isolation in the sitting as possible because of vulnerability. they had clearly tried to put me into the far end of the dining room of the bar, but unfortunately this is clear where the non-eating clientele usually likes congregate so in a short time the opposite was with non-eating local without moving space and definitiw not covid friendly. if they wish a quieter meal, ask the it area to the right of the bar.
Our first visit to the plough inn finstock and we loved it! a wonderful Sunday dinner to enjoy, a great atmosphere and warm hospitality we cannot wait until our next visit!
Good menu to a series of flavors from easier to more adventurous. the prices are comppetitiw and offer worth for money. great location, friendly, accomodating and welcoming. will definitely come back soon.
Together with guests, I have visited The Plough at Finstock on a number of occasions, always for a meal with a drink. I like this hostelry for many reasons: its old world charm, its ambience, its superb food and the choices of food on offer and, not least for the warm welcome and service that are always offered by Guy and his staff I have no hesitation in recommending The Plough to anyone who may be looking for a relaxing lunchtime or evening meal with a drink and good company.
