The restaurant Le Petit Saint-Germain is set in Saint-Germain-sur-Vienne. Classic kitchen and very friendly service will allow you to spend a very good time in this place
In St. Germain S/Vienne (Valle della Loira) coming from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and heading to the Château d'Azay le Rideau in front of a lovely little church, we had lunch outside choosing to try the menu from 14.50 euros. With surprise sum it was served first a salad of the house with prawns, a delicious smoked salmon, egg, tomato, cucumber, lettuce. To follow a generous portion of fillet of perch fish cooked with a very delicate sauce (of which, of course, I can not say the ingredients). Finally a cup of ice cream with strawberry and vanilla tastes. The service has been attentive and connoted by the joking sympathy of the owner. Surely the quantity and quality of the courses apply this place first in the podium of the quality/price encountered during my tour in the valley of the Loire. Also note that the restaurant is served by a fairly large parking lot (for at least six cars) on the street side. I feel like recommending it as a place of a rewarding rest for both food and the enchanting context in which it is placed.
An awesome little restaurant off the beaten path! Had lunch outside in the backyard - what beautiful setting Food and wine were great.

A s. germain s/a (Loire Valley) - from the royal abbey of fontevraud and in the direction of the castle of Azay-le-Rideau - in front of an enchanting church, we have lunched in the open air by choosing the menu for 14 ,50€. Surprisingly, a house salad with royal shrimp, delicious smoky salmon, egg, tomato, cucumber, lettuce was served. followed by a generous portion of cooked perch fillet with a very delicate sauce (of course I don't know the ingredients). at the end, a cup of ice cream with strawberry and vanilla. the service was attentive and characterized by the cheerfulness of the owner. Of course, the quantity and quality of the routes make this place the first place of the podium quality/price encountered during my journey in the valley of the loire. I also specify that the restaurant is served by a fairly large parking lot (for at least six cars) on the street side. I would recommend it as a place for an enriching stop both for food and for the enchanting context in which it is placed.
