The experience was excellent the great food a great cuisine several meats and abundant everything at its point, of the dessert and pestino hats to finish the coffee. the price of relaciôn of unbeatable quality, we will return safely. friendly, effective and repaid service
Durante nuestra estancia en el Parador de Chinchón, comimos dos veces en su restaurante el Convento. En el que hay que destacar tanto la atención del personal de sala como su gastronomía y excelentes platos. Nada más sentarta en la mesa te ofrecen un aperitivo de cortesia y diferentes tipos de pan y aceite. Todo lo que probamos estaba riquisimo, aunque me gustaría destacar la degustación de quesos de Madrid con mermelada artesana; la ensalada de queso fresco humus de calabaza asada, pipas y vinagreta de mango y mostaza; el bacalao asado con manitas y morro de cerdo con salsa a la vizcaína; el arroz meloso de boletus, conejo, romero y castañas. Todo estaba espectacular y los platos eran generosos y bien presentados. Se me olvidaba el postre, el carajillo de Chinchón (gelatina de café, crema de anís y helado de café una delicia para los sentidos. Otros platos de la carta y que también estaban muy sabrosos, la ensalada de ventresca de bonito; las migas con huevo, chistorra y morcilla; lomo de dorada a la espalda o la corvina a la parrilla. Otros postres, el Brownie meloso con helado de naranja. En resumen, felicidad en la mesa.
With so many restaurants just next door on the Plaza Mayor, why suffer here at the Parador? The service is very slow, count a hour between dishes. Plenty of waiters, but they spend a lot of the time chitchatting between themselves away from the guest tables. And they completely forgot part of the order. No welcome, no goodbye, nobody cares, nobody in charge. Much of the problem is due to one very large group of diners monopolizing the staff's attention. These large groups have become a real Parador problem, I have noticed it at other Paradores this year. At least the hotel side of the Parador de Chinchón is much better.
Beautiful building, great atmosphere, amazing food, we tried the typical Cocido Madrileño and it was awesome!, they serve huge portions though, we begged them to give us only one pot of cocido and it was perfect!
