Bidra med feedbackIt was my first visit when I walked in the door and I was quickly greeted by an employee behind the deli counter who asked what she could help me with. I told her I was looking for steaks for 4 people for dinner that night. She asked how I planned to cook them and then offered me a few choices along with the typical cost for each of those types of steaks. While I waited for her to package them up, the owner walked by and greeted me. After I had my steaks, I asked the employee for a recommendation on a rub to top the steaks with. Again, she offered a few choices, including her favourite, which is the one I chose.The AAA rib eyes, topped with the rub, were juicy, tender, and absolutely delicious!I will 100% return to The Town Butcher for their excellent service and product.
Was keen to check this place out at the end of car club tour today. We recently moved back to the area and love to support local business.As soon as we parked, the owner came out and told us to park elsewhere. When we explained we’re local and he told us we weren’t leaving room for the seniors. Our car is small and we were completely with the lines.Okay, we figure he’s had poor experiences with other people parking and going to Starbucks next door instead of shopping with him. So we gave him the benefit of the doubt and moved.He proceeded to evict 2 other members of the car club who parked in front of his business.However, we watched for 30 minutes while other people parked and went to Starbucks- only one couple went into the Town Butcher.So it’s not a parking issue but a people issue. He’s not a fan of us.So we took our business elsewhere.Missed opportunity to showcase his business to a group of people who love to support others. We will promote other local business to our friends and associates.
I had gone to the Town Butcher for the first time yesterday. I moved into the Garrison area and was told that the TB was the place to go to get local beef and deli products. I was not disappointed. I ordered the bacon and cheddar pasta salad, stuffed mushrooms, and twice baked potato and wow! Naomi was the cashier and she was very pleasant to chat with. I was also recommended by my friend to look into purchasing the grass fed butter from there too. They had their 15th anniversary yesterday and I enjoyed a cheese burger which was one of the most delightful burgers I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back and I look forward to supporting the Town Butcher in the future. 10/10 recommend.
Saturday June 19 around 5:30pm I visited this butcher for the first time and I was super impressed with the two lady's working.They cut me out a fresh brisket on the spot by request.I had it trimmed, seasoned and on the smoker for Father's Day within hours.Brisket was a absolute hit with the whole family and fed everyone well with some leftover.Thank you.
Bill and his staff are top notch!They have the best meat selection, so much so that when I moved to Vancouver Island I still order through The Town Butcher!
