Favorite Fast Food. I am American, but live in Canada, and the one place I always eat when I 'm near one in the stastes is Carl 's Jr. I have loved their burgers since my first.<br/ <br/ Now that I 'm on a very strict diet, this is my go-to 'treat ' food. My fav is the low-carb thickburger (original $6 burger in the states) and I don 't fall off the diet.<br/ <br/ Also, if I get the combo meal, the low-carb burger comes with a side salad, which is much bigger and better than any other fast-food side salad.
Strangely enough, their fish and chips are not bad. As a joke, I ordered their fish and chips once 'just to see what they were like '. I was impressed.<br/ <br/ While it is true, they are frozen pieces of fish, they are quite big, and do not taste frozen. The fish is a 'filet ' inside, not minced and formed like you 'd expect.<br/ <br/ For $6.99 you get 3 big pieces of fish and it includes fries, it is enough to fill up the hungriest person. I 've had them twice now, and enjoyed them. I bet a lot of people would never think of ordering it, but you should try them.
Best Burger!!. The best burger I have had ever at a fast food restaurant! Had the guacamole bacon burger....Oooh burger heaven! Fresh and I mean Fresh Crispy lettuce 2 slices of actual tomato... fresh purple onions, oh so tasty cooked just right bacon! .. oh it is.mouthwatering ....and so filling! it's a big burger! Tastes homemade.<br/ <br/ I highly recommend Carl Jr...I'm going to try their breakfast biscuits next
The patty on the original thick burger is exactly that. A thick oversized 100% Angus beef patty, lightly seasoned and flame grilled to a well done. It wasn't overly juicy, but was a lot of beef. I won’t go on record saying that the patty blew my mind, it’s still a chain restaurant patty, but my expectations were exceeded. The bun is your average sesame burger bun. It was fresh, but unfortunately not up to the task of holding the mammoth burger together. All in all, a very good foundation to what some may call a fast food burg. See more at: [hidden link]
