The Grill On The Alley Chicago

All in all it was a good restaurant. We went New Year’s Eve so they only had the holiday menu which is very small. Saw the full menu on Open table and got excited but what we got was good.

The grill at this restaurant was fantastic. Our waiter was outstanding! It was my birthday and he went above and beyond to make us feel special. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I really enjoyed my drink as well. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I always love dining at The Grill on the Alley. The service and the food are always excellent. Julie is one of my favorite servers and always pleasant to dine with. The host staff always greats me as a returning diner and remembers us from each dining experience. Carol is always a pleasure to see when I walk in. I always recommend The Grill on the Alley to my friends looking a for a great place in Chicago to dine out.

Food was great as was the service. The dessert, not so great.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, however, the food was just average. We both ordered the Prime Rib and felt that it lacked flavor - it needed some salt, garlic, and overall, some more seasoning. The horseradish that came with it was very bland and watery. Overall, the meal was not really worth the price.
