Personally I loved the simple menu, and not having to ingest cream cheese and mayo every other roll. Wished the bean curd nigiri had seaweed salad. Heck, wish seaweed salad was an option. Tried the squid nigiri and didn't care for the rough and chewy texture. Rock N Roll was rather massive despite being only 5 pieces. Highlights included the Pop-up Roll and Chicago Roll. Would recommend anything that doesn't have fried stuff. Great casual sushi spot.
Sushi enthusiast here! It's currently $20 for an all-you-can-eat lunch/dinner experience, and it's totally worth it! Any sushi place will cost more than $20 after the first specialty roll, and I got four specialty rolls and ten pieces of sushi (meat and rice only). You have to eat all of it, though, or you're charged for what you don't eat. The food itself is delicious! I will say the tuna has a slightly metallic taste, and the eel came real chewy (though I'm sure this is an authentic taste). No rolls were shorted their fair share of meat, they were good and big specialty rolls. I did have to ask for the check and for refills, the wait staff is the only thing I believe the place could improve upon. Also, if you care, the sodas come out in a can and a glass of ice, no fountain drinks. Overall great experience, will go every time I visit Chicago!
All you can eat was the best thing I have found in Chicago. The portions are huge and there is a bunch of options to choose. Service is good and tasty is ok. It's a good place to try different kind of sushi paying fair price.
This place has a great all you can eat menu. I had the red dragon and fusion rolls. I also had the soft crab. The salmon pieces were absolutely amazing. I like coming here when I'm in the area. Parking can be a headache sometimes.
Business Lunch menu only for $12, tuna roll and tempura.. fresh food and tasty. Nice place to eat at the downtown.
