Sushi Mura - Chicago

Had a great dinner with my wife and 2 twenty-something kids. Everyone enjoyed their Maki rolls.

The special Maki sushi rolls are really delicious. They are a bit smaller-not as much rice-as other sushi places in Lakeview, but the fish itself and the flavor is really delicious. I highly recommend the specialty cocktails-they are very delicious and a really healthy serving size!

App allowed me to make a 9:30pm reservation, but the kitchen closed at 9:30 and the restaurant closes at 10.

Not sure how we missed this place given how often we've gone to the Music Box over the years. We messed up and arrived late, but they were very accommodating and were able to seat us right away. They have a good mix of very high quality standard maki (old school spicy tuna was a hit with both of us, and we have some very specific ideas about how a spicy tuna roll should be made and equally high quality signature rolls. The salmon ceviche roll is my new favorite--I'd go back tomorrow just to have a couple of those. (It's all about the thin slices of lemon. Yum.

Great service. Sushi was excellent. We were trying to make our movie timings and our server made sure we got our food quickly. Highly recommend overall.
