Subway - Chicago

Clean environment, but they do not offer suppe on the menu and they close extremely early.

A slogan for this place: Fine sandwich, lackluster service. The lady making my sandwich was disinterested, could not articulate what she was saying, and was more interested in having a conversation with some other guy who was just hanging out in the restaurant.

Horrible service... they refused to serve me because I was asking for the promotion price. Had to go spend my money at another location

Place advertises as being open until 8 p.m but I just went there and the man shooed me away. I don't mind closing earlier than 8 PM, especially in the loop, but don't tell people your open until 8 if you aren't. People in the loop are very busy and plan their schedule around these types of things. Also, I can't prove it, but I suspect their bread is smaller than every other Subway I have been to.

If any place deserves no stars, it's this place. I've been to this place many times after work and the guy always looks annoyed that people are coming into the store, he slops together sandwiches and doesn't seem to care. I've had some decent experiences but also some bad ones. Multiple times I've had bad veggies (I try to look at them first before deciding what to get). I went a little over a week ago and the guy didn't make the people there aware they had no cheese, well unless you only want pepper jack! Who runs out of all cheeses at a sandwich shop? Ok, that's whatever but tonight really got me. We ordered our food and got home and when I opened my sandwich up there was a rancid smell, the tomatoes were rotten! I took everything off except for the top and literally ate two tiny pieces of cheese a cucumber, mayo and a little bread. I'm more than positive they use old veggies and will NEVER goto this location again even though it's right down the street. I will now (if I decide to ever go back to a subway) walk a little further to a better location. Shame on this place for not taking food safety seriously! Oh as I lay here with a stomach ache, probably the bad cheese or mayo!
