Pump Room-Public Hotel - Chicago

The service at this restaurant is always excellent. The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly without being overbearing. I do wish they had a live jazz trio like they used to have in the Pump Room days. It would add to the ambiance. The only suggestion I have is to add sheers around the sunken dining area to make it more private from the bar. Overall, a very nice experience.

We will miss Booth One and hope that Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises will open another one of their fantastic restaurants in our area!

I had the opportunity to visit Booth One before they closed for good. It's a pity that they are shutting down. I really hope that Lettuce Entertain you will consider opening the restaurant in a new location. I enjoyed the delicious food and the great music they had playing. The service was consistently exceptional. It's truly disappointing that they are no longer in business.

When we sat, we were in a family we knew and talked to them. The server was very polite when we sat down. She was attentive and answered our questions. The baked Alaska was wonderful. Everyone observed when they prepared it on the table and were envious.

Food was stunning. Excellent caesar salad, tuna tartare and lobster hors d'oevres. Impressive service and wine sommelier. After a pricey wine purchase, they offered us desserts on the house. Beautiful mille feuilles was a great end to a lovely meal.
