Paterno's Pizza - Chicago

UPDATE: They continue to do the food right. I've been back many times since my original review. ORIGINAL: It really is a bar. But, it's a bar with very good food. The food I've had has been great. Try the Incredible Beef, you will not be disappointed. I've also had the spaghetti and the sauce is homemade. It's not fancy inside, but don't let that fool you, the food is good. I see families often. I just had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was great. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender, juicy and full of flavor. I will continue to go here.

I had a slice pizza pretty damn good pizza and i had a beer for one bar tender it was good service. My surroundings were fine easy to look at everything or anything.

This is your classic neighborhood place. They don't pretend to be something they're not. It's exactly what you should expect, and that's what makes it great. So glad to have it in my neighborhood
