Panera Bread - Chicago

I liked this place overall. It is not fancy, but there's a lot of space inside, different kind of chairs and stools and the patio outside. Also they have a fireplace. Coffee is ok, considering that it is free with the membership.

Is it me or does the staff at this Panera suck ass? The first time I went, there were major attitudes left and right, the vibe was off but the food was good. Tonight I dined in and tell me why two employees started sweeping the floor so close to my table, with debris and dust everywhere. Smh ‍ I think the restaurant should be empty before y'all start sweeping floors with customers eating! Super rude dude. I never had problems with the food, it's the shitty employees.

I usually get a Mediterranean Veggie sandwich; ONE sandwich looks like it uses 4 slices of tomato-basil bread. It seems like 2 sandwiches. All sandwiches come w choice of chips,fruit. Online order pickup is convenient; my orders are always ready/waiting at time I choose. If u're a Member u often get some type of freebie. Last time, they gave me a chocolate filled croissant. It was delicious, as are most bakery items here.

Avoid this location ! My orders almost always incorrect Will not make amends for their mistakes Attitude problems They have messed up my order many times . The worst was forgetting chicken in a chicken salad !!!! When I told the manager on my way out, his response was giving me a bowl of chicken pieces . I reminded him of the Panera policy of giving me a complimentary pastry. He refused !! I'm done eating with my chicken less chicken salad . What the heck am I gonna do with a bunch of small chicken pieces ?? Poor customer care . The Team manager working when I went in for lunch was a poor Panera employee. If corporate is ok with customers being compensated for an incorrect order with a cookie, why is the manager refusing to honor basic Panera policy? Avoid this place .

I ordered the Asian sesame salad with chicken, but they forgot the chicken. This place feels a bit neglected. I recommend going to another restaurant for better service.
