Nobu Chicago

The food was really good, however, for the price I would expect significantly better customer service. There were very attentive hosts and bust boys but the wait staff was either short staffed or just very apathetic. Either way it left a lot to be desired for the price. Likely would just try other restaurants of the same caliber rather than go back here. The crispy rice spicy tuna was worth the bad service for one try though.

Our first time, and we'll definitely be back! The waiter was extremely helpful explaining everything, helped make great recommendations and really ensured we had a great experience for my birthday. Would absolutely recommend that it's worth it!

The ambience and service at this place is far from luxurious. The noise level makes you feel like you're in a nightclub, the place was crowded, so many guests waiting to be seated (including us, we waited 30 mins to get seated) and messy dirty restrooms. However, I have to admit, our food was delicious, I can tell why the Black Cod with Miso is so popular, I give it a 10/10. Everything else was a solid 8/10. Recommend the food but just don't expect a luxurious restaurant experience, it's not.

Nobu is a special restaurant for a memorable meal. This was my second time at Nobu, and both visits we got the Nobu experience where the server asks the table a few questions about what your preferences and then the chef selects your 7 course dinner. The first time I went, there were 2 dishes that I did not love, but this visit, I loved every dish! The favorites were the jalepeno yellow tail and the taco and the sushi course. The two desserts were both amazing. The cost for the experience starts at $150 per person; yes, very expensive, and we still felt that the meal exceeded our expectations.

All the food was basic at best. Sushi left a lot to be desired. Server was far too busy to pay us attention. Table was dirty when we arrived. Could barely keep our water glasses full. Took forever to order a drink. For a place that prides itself in Japanese hospitality and cuisine, I was quite disappointed as was my party. Not worth it.
