Bidra med feedbackMy party and I stopped in at this casual diner after a tour of Chinatown and were pleasantly surprised by the two vegetable dishes: Braided winter melon and Shredded cabbage. The winter melon was tender and soaked in a flavorful broth, while the cabbage had a nice balance of heat and sourness. We also enjoyed the appetizer of beef honeycomb tripe. We were excited to try the Cured meat with bamboo shoots, a dish known for its cured meat, but found it to be just okay as the meat was too fatty and the bamboo shoots not as fresh. Overall, it was a good meal, though the service was a bit lacking as we had to call for attention. We finished all the dishes except the cured meat and may give it another try with different dishes next time.
Stopped here for a quick lunch, whilst exploring China Town. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good value and tasty. Would go back.
My go-to restaurant to order my pickup. Good taste, not greasy not oily, reasonable price and they do satisfy you, I always ask them to cook with less oil, and they do a perfect job. You know 90% of the chefs will not do as you asked, but they do, so they deserve this 5-star reviews. If you like Hunan cuisine, you don’t want to miss this restaurant.
Undoubtedly the best authentic Hunan dishes in greater Chicago area. Probably the best in this country. For those who complain about the spiciness of their food, yes that's exactly the taste of Changsha.小炒肉 is my favorite and I order 3 servings for takeout everytime I come here from suburb.
Ordered sesame chicken and only ate 2 pieces left literally the whole plate sat for 1hr no service other than taking down orders and leaving, was dissatisfied with order complain to a man who was on cashier, he literally said “not my problem” WOULD NOT TAKE off the order which i barely touched
