Bidra med feedbackThis place was amazing, and not too expensive. I've never had Senegalese food before, but the flavors were phenomenal. Even the veggie sides were packed with flavor. The side cabbage ended up being one of my favorites. I got the chicken curry and my wifegot the house tiebou dejun and the were both amazing. Will definitely come back. ????
My brother ask me did I want some lamb and I lit up and said yes, did you have to ask! Lol, I had the Dibi lamb and Jollof rice ????????????All I can say if you have not tried them you are missing out on some amazing food full of flavor! The Bissap andGinger drinks leave you speechless! 1st time but want be my last I will become a regular for the few months I?m here working!!!????????????????????
I?ve never had Senegalese food, but I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here today! I had the Maffe which is lamb cooked in a peanut butter sauce with potatoes and carrots. I really loved the flavor of the sauce and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. The sideof rice was a nice addition, and the Gingembe drink washed it down perfectly with a bit of spiciness! The owner is a great guy,and the employees were very friendly and courteous. Excellent service overall!
Our family stopped by Goree on our Chicago vacation (having never eaten Senegalese cuisine before) and ordered the Yassa Lamb, Maffe, and Saka Saka and thoroughly enjoyed them all! The service and ambience were also fantatstic. Would definitely recommend!
Went here to buy takeout for my friends birthday And luckily it wasn't far from her house cause they got the order half wrong the first time. I called and they said to come in and grab the rest of it but then they didn't have anymore fufu by the time Igot my order again. I really was disappointed by that at first but the food was amazing. They accidentally gave us a whole fishon our first trip there and I must say...best mistake ever. That fish was so well seasoned and it honestly opened my horizonscause I'd usually say hell nah to a fish w the head still attached. I loved everything...the dibi chicken, djolof rice, themafe, and my soupe kandje... but that fish was the best honestly.
