Ganbeii Asian Fusion - Chicago

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Everything I've had here is awesome! The Urban Nomad burger is big and juicy, cooked perfectly. It comes with a side of fries which aren't the best fries out there but a nice compliment to the meal. The spicy pork is moist with just the right amount of spice. The portion is fair but I find myself wanting more (cause it's so good). They usually will let you add extra meat for a small addition charge. Trust me, it's worth it. The pulled pork sandwich is a nice size and very flavorful. The Korean wings are excellent, both flavors. The mandoo are the perfect appetizer. Crispy with dipping sauces. The ambiance in the restaurant is also cool. It has a chill vibe with low lighting and neon signs in the interior. They play Korean R&B which adds to the vibe. Clean bathrooms. Would absolutely recommend this spot!

My wife and I really enjoy a good portion of tteokbokki. This place has it, so nice and spicy! Cool vibes, friendly staff, and delicious foods. We’ve been back twice since discovering this place, and we’re only in town for two weeks.

Great place for Korean food! Had the bulgogi, cheese fried, and tteokbokki. Would 100% recommend the fries they were great and bulgogi was more so what you would expect and is shown in the photo. The tteokbokki was very delicious and cheesy but the potion size was pretty small. Great vibes for a dinner with friends over drinks.

I'm mad I'm just discovering this place now. Great food and top notch service. The mandoo appetizer was perfectly fried and crisp, and the bulgogi was flavorful and came out sizzling. The waiter even brought me some spicy sauce on the side. Music was vibey too, great spot to hang, eat, and drink soju with friends.

The wings were really good. I loved the Korean fries. The service was good and attentive.
