Bidra med feedbackThe tasting menu is amazing! Everything is super freshly tasteful. The turkey duck was my favorite. The To-go cookie in the end is a great note
Really one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time. I've eaten at Galit or run at least 10x and I never had a bad meal. A deserved Michelin and one of the most beautiful teams of hospitality professionals around!
This restaurant has recently earned its first Michelin star and it is no wonder why! This is my new popular Mediterranean place in the city. The food was spectacular, the staff beautiful, and the location was great. It is nice to see good restaurants in Lincoln Park (and not in West Loop). I admire the hummus and homemade cheese from the appetizer course, the cabbage and rice dish, and the rice pudding dessert (these were from their restaurant Week menus). Everything we ate was amazing! You have a regular fixed price menu for dinner that looked fantastic, so you should definitely check it!
Galit was amazing. I sat here with the girlfriend for birthday. It was our first Michelin star restaurant we've ever tried. Great atmosphere. We sat at the kitchen bar. The fixed menu is simple. Server was really knowledgeable. The wine map was very unique with many Middle Eastern wines that you do not see many places.
I've been to other Michelin star restaurants. Some of the best Middle Eastern and Israeli food I have had! Lots of options and very affordable compared to other Michelin star restaurants. Nothing out of the ordinary, so a very comfortable dining experience all around. I left very full from their $69 full course and I am a 205lb+ man. Simple Middle Eastern staples across the menu. Pita is made to order in a hearth oven. Very affordable. Hip place that's great for sharing food in a group or on a date. You will leave full. Impressive wine selections, especially from the Middle East. Not super creative, but nothing wrong with simple done well. The Pastrami and the Carrot Cake is to die for!
