Bidra med feedbackThe place is now out of operation. The service was slow, although the food was good.
Great food and service. Try the roasted green tomatoes and fish bites, you will not be disappointed!
We went to Epiphany on a Friday night, 7:30. We wanted to go to Lincoln Hall for a show of 10:00, so we thought we had a lot of time to eat and drink. While we sat quickly, got drinks and got our appetizers all within 20 30 minutes, we waited a really excessive time for our net that arrived just before 9:30. The dishes themselves gumbo, jambalaya, and shrimp pasta were all delicious. To their credit, the server was abolished and even offered to buy us dessert to delay. Unfortunately we had to eat and run at this point. I hope they can improve their kitchen operations as I would be willing to revise after the rest of our experience. Until then, I'm glad I tried epiphany, but it can't recommend in good conscience.
While I was excited to try a new NOLA-style restaurant, I wasn't blown away from Epiphany's. The food was good, but overpriced, the wine list was small, the signature cocktails were sugary and affordable, there was no beer list, and the portions, although fair size, were not worth the cost. We were also just one of two groups there (a different group of 2 people) and we almost had to wait until our meal on one side we ordered with the meal, only to get it and find it was a $9 side the size of a saucer plate and the grain bread was burned. They have compelled us to their credits, but overall it was nothing special. I hope they do it through the winter and maybe we'll give him another shot in the spring.
Lots of issues. Hopefully it is due to being new and they will fix them. They did not have beer. They had no drink menu. The windows were drafty. The waitresses huddled in the back and did not come around to check on us very often. The food took over an hour to come and my fried chicken was overcooked.
