Don Pedro Carnitas - Chicago

I have read this place often has a line from the window. we came in on Monday at 1 o'clock and had no waiting time. the menu is simple. their order carnitas at the portion, and they asked if they wanted only flesh, or skin, as well as to like. we chose meat with just a bit of the skin. one half has two slightly fed. it comes with all fixins for them to build their own tacos. we built three and had rest. the meeting was slowly cooked, tender and perfectly seasoned. we would highly recommend!

Lived i. chicago before the pandemic and could make it after two years to don pedro again. the carnitas are the best of my opinion and the tacos de seso are amazing. went in the week, which is slower than woken but still an amazing place. I have suggested don pedro over any other Carnitas restaurant in the opposite.

The initial lady who sat us down was stand-offish and asking for a water seemed to enrage her, bill came and I was charged for things I didn’t order. But the cashier was total opposite fixed it immediately and very helpful food was outstanding. One bad apple don’t ruin a tree.

The carnitas are fired. they have a good taste, a little salty tho. the salsa they give are also good. they also have a red and green salsa they sell, both are good. I personally get the salsa cuz, they are spicy. they also sell birria and barbacoa and taquitos that I did not try, but while I was there, many people also bought everything else.
