Dante's Tavern - Chicago

Visiting the area and we ordered slices to go and wow!! The slice of the day was white sauce with pepperoni and poblano peppers…So delicious! Great service!

Pizza was fair to middling, the decor is right on, but when I leave my sunglasses and phone at the bar, it's a pretty good indicator I'm coming back. Having told a staff member I was stepping out for a minute is another great indicator of my intent. When I come back and my fresh beer is gone and I'm rang up for a another is just bad business. The brunette bartender was great, the blonde however should be allowed to wait for a bus, much less a patron.

I wish I had a tavern like this back at my home! It's the exact vibe I wanted.

Went in w some buddies to get some slices. After waiting a couple minutes bc the bar tender was busy chatting w her friends. I had a googley eye on my forehead, the bartender scratched my head and flicked it off. I don't know her name but it was a Wednesday nt around 8 pm. By far the rudest interaction I've ever had by a bar tender.

I love Dante’s. Great spot for a good slice and a glass of wine. I really don’t know what else to say. It’s tasty pizza with a naughty demonic vibe. What more do you want?
