Cochon Volant - Chicago

I was there for brunch. After telling the server to make sure the food was hot, he brought a plate of cold hollandaise sauce, lukewarm poached eggs, a soggy English muffin and cold (raw) spinach and potatoes. Everything was very salty and basically not appetizing. The restaurant half full and we had to ask twice for water and waited for our bill for ten minutes. It was my second time there...I was not impressed with it the first time but there is not many places for brunch near Symphony Hall. I will not be coming back. .

Cochon Volant has an interesting menu with something for everyone. We had the shrimp cocktail, oysters, 2 filets and 2 pasta dishes. All were very good and very fresh!

Delicious and wonderful.in every way. A perfect venue for steak frites, roast chicken and escargot.

Way too much attitude from our server, even from a French restaurant. We were going to order food, but midway through our coffee the server came by and said he had to take off, so we had to close out. The vibe was definitely that we were expected to leave. Do not plan to ever return.

Food was great and the service was just as good. Make sure to try the ‘panier volant’
