Chicago Waffles

We were seated right away and service was very fast! the server was very kind and even offered to take our picture (and moved a table to do so! in front of the wall! we had our food not even 10 min after ordering! my mom and i were both done eating only 40 min after parking down the street. very trendy decor and the food was AMAZING, will definitely have to come again next time we’re down here as they have a huge selection.

Update from 07/26/2021 Today's Visit 09/26/21 Excellent Customer Service Delicious Food! This review is an update from a pervious review I gave two months ago. We were invited by the restaurant owners to comeback for a complementary meal on the house. My husband and I appreciate that Chicago Waffles West Loop wanted to take the opportunity to correct the mistake from our first visit. Our experience this time around was wonderful and I have nothing but positive comments. The owners reached out to us via email with their sincerest apologies about our first visit and wanted to make it up to us. They invited us back. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon, we had a reservation for 1pm. We were greeted by the owner. We were seated in a wonderful table in a cozy area. I ordered the Cheddar Waffles and Beef Brisket with Mimosa. My husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken with Berry Mojito. The beef brisket was tender, juicy, well seasoned, the waffles were light and fluffy on the inside while golden crispy brown on the outside. I enjoyed every bite. My husband says his chicken was tender and juicy, his mojito was delicious blended well, smooth, just right. The owners also provided us with a complementary waffle flight of chocolate, red velvet, green tea, and buttermilk waffles to go. Overall this experience was great. I highly recommend Chicago Waffles West Loop. Its a great breakfast or brunch location for family, friends, dates, etc.

I would just like to say how wonderful the water man at this restaurant is. I was staying in Chicago for the weekend for summer smash. And every day this man was working and got my water filled up very frequently and constantly was taking plates all while washing dishes and tending to other tables. I work in the restaurant business and I have never seen a water man and busser better than this guy. I do not know his name but i did get a picture with him. He deserves a raise and extreme praise for how well he does his job. Waffles West Loop has a gem of a worker and an invaluable addition to their staff with this man.

The best “oh I’ll just try it” decision ever! I’m one of those adults who will tell herself that I have food at home, just wait. Well, I’m very happy I decided to stop here. Ordered the salmon benedict…wonderful. But that wonut—woo chile. Yes yes yes!

First time here, food was delicious! You have to try their signature potatoes you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
