Bulldog Ale House State St. - Chicago

It is unclear why this restaurant remains in OpenTables system. I've been on 22. December made a reservation, showed up and they told me they did not take reservations through OpenTable. Read other reviews, this happens with others. Why are OpenTable bookings in a restaurant that will not honor them?

I told the reception desk that I have a reservation, and the man told me with an attitude that “we do not take reservation, what are you talking about? How many people do you have? “I was confused because this is not the first time that I use an open table for reservation.

The impossible burgers were really good! The White Dog Beer was perfect and only $6 for 32 ounces. Waitress even lets us get samples of a few before we go through our beer.

I will not be returning to Bulldog again. We had a reservation for 7:15 and arrived on time. Upon arrival, the host told us that they would not honor the reservation. He was very rude. We left. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience. The bartenders and servers have also been rude and the food is awful. Do not waste your time.
