Boxcar Betty's - Chicago

Since the first time I went to this restaurant, I have always liked to come back as much as I can every time I have a spare moment or if I am around the place. This restaurant is a great spot for breakfast and brunch. It has a designated location whichis very accessible. It is a small spot, but it is always clean and bright. The ambiance is also nice. The staff are veryaccommodating. They would always greet every customer with big smiles on their faces, and they are so polite too. Their menudoes not have a variety of options, which is why my only favorite is their chicken sandwich. When it comes to the food,everything I order is always fresh and hot. I love their fresh and hand-cut fries, which are always crunchy and seasoned toperfection. It also has a huge portion, which is definitely reasonable for its price. Then, their chicken sandwich, which Ireally love. Like the fries, the chicken sandwich also has a huge portion, especially the chicken. The chicken is so huge thatit is crispy on the outside and definitely tender on the inside. It also has a nice flavor or light seasoning to it, which iswhy I love it so much. It is also topped with some fresh veggies, making it taste even better. I just really love this spot. Theservice is great and the food is delicious, plus the prices are reasonable. It is just so amazing, and I highly recommend thisspot, especially if you love sandwiches.

I had a really tasty lunch today! It was my first time visiting Boxcar Betty's.I got The Betty with fried chicken, fries and peach coleslaw. The fries are hand cut and seasoned well. I am not a big fry fan, but these were really good. Some pieces werecrispy and crunchy. The sandwich was really good. Thick cut pickles, a good size of breaded chicken, with pickles, lettuce andtomato. I will definitely visit this place again. There is available seating, but maybe about 10-12 seats.

Boxcar sandwich might be best chicken sandwich I ever had. Good fries too. I am not a vendor.

The first thing that caught my attention was the menu displayed on the wall, which focuses mainly on chicken sandwiches. I had the option to choose my protein—fried, grilled, or pimiento-stuffed chicken—and I opted for the fried version. They also offer a build-your-own sandwich option. I added a side of their hand-cut fries to my order. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices; they are fair and reasonable—not too expensive, but not overly cheap either. Customer service was excellent. The staff at the counter were friendly and welcoming. Though the restaurant is small and there are seats inside, I decided to take my food to go. The service was relatively quick; there was a short wait, but soon after, I received my meal fresh and hot. The portions were just right—neither too large nor too small. The chicken was tender, and I really enjoyed the spicy mayo in the sandwich, which added a nice kick. Overall, everything tasted delicious. The hand-cut fries were fresh, hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. My first visit here was absolutely worth it, and I had a lovely experience. I will definitely be returning!
