Bidra med feedbackThe plantains, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese are too spicy to enjoy without burning your mouth. The brown stew chicken is cold and has a gelatin-like texture.
I order from the Chicago Heights location and Fiona and Harley provided service. Very professional and kind. Food was fresh and great. Great for a late date night dinner.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but there are a couple of areas that need improvement. Firstly, they should start answering the phone promptly. Secondly, they need to establish a more organized system for customers picking up their orders. During my visit, I walked in, placed my order, and soon realized that my food, along with several others', was ready and waiting on the counter. Customers had to individually approach the staff to inquire about their orders, even though we had receipt numbers. This inefficiency could potentially drive away customers, so it is crucial for them to streamline their process in order to better serve their clientele.
The restaurant had fantastic food, service, and price! They provided us with samples to help us choose our meat. I ended up getting the beef brisket, but the pork was just as tasty. The coleslaw was heavenly! We had heard that it was spicy, but we found that the flavors were perfect.
The directions take you to the vacant lot but this place is located in the mini strip mall. Its next to the Western store. This jerk restaurant doesn’t have the address or name on the front; only a flag hanging. We walked in and waited 55mins for our food. I got salmon, she got 1/2 white. My food wasnt that great nor spicy enough. I wanted to take it back but there was only one staff working the front of the store and the cook in the back, so I didnt want to overwhelm them. I think there was a second lady just sitting/hiding in the corner behind the register, not helping the cashier at all. This is a takeout only restaurant.Vegetarian options: Salad, potatoes, callaloo, pasta (not sure if the pasta sauce contains meat or high diary content)Parking: Directions take you to the wrong location but there is a free lot infront of this place. Restaurant has yellow walls with a flag hanging upWheelchair accessibility: Yes its one levelDietary restrictions: I dont think jerk sauce is gluten free but they had salads and some sides made with no meat.
