The first Italian restaurant of Chiangmai. The old name Babylon was before Chiang Mai University. The Italian founder had founded and later after he died, the daughter had created this acrobaleno. You can see old photo of the founder when he was a young, well-looking man almost 60 years ago in the restaurant with the old famous movie stars....and also with a royal family of Thailand in the old days.

This is an extraordinary Italian restaurant; the food is delicious, the service is very professional, the owner is super friendly and know to make the customers happy. The recommended choices are Spaghetti with clams and Crab au gratin. Arcobaleno will be one of my favourite Italian restaurant at all times.

We have recently arrived in Chiang Mai and staying near to this restaurant. The service has been outstanding. Under difficult situation due to Covid, they are serving expansive menu. The dishes we had were excellent although caprese salad not traditional. Still very much enjoyed our dinner here.
