Bidra med feedbackGreat little deli that 's hard to find. It is inside a large business complex, around the corner after you walk inside. Little place that appears to be a literal mom and pop store . Prices are great. And don 't miss the home baked desserts that cost about 1/3 what I thought they would.
This place is a hidden gem. Prices are good compared to everything else around here. Great selection and a lot of healthy choices too. Will be back again tomorrow.
Really good sandwich! Super fresh, fast, and delicious. However, for $9-10 I guess I was expecting a little bigger portion. I picked #1 the Alice and enjoyed it. Avocados was bright green, chicken tasted fresh, and bun was warm and a little crispy. Spicy mayo was just the right amount. Bacon was the typical standard. The korean older couple who run the shop are cute. Tip: use the number of the address to find the building cos google map is a bit off. After you enter the building, keep walking to the back.
This is a hidden deli shop that serves breakfast and lunch for the people that work or walk around the Chevy Chase friendship heights area. It's located inside the Microsoft building. This place seems like a mom and pop deli that's owned by Koreans. They have a set lunch menu that is on dry erase boards but they also have a hidden menu that has korean food for regular customers. I come to order the #1 sandwich which is called the Alice. It comes on a Kaiser sandwich bun with grilled chicken and avocado and chipotle mayo sauce! Very delicious and filling. My second go to sandwich is the tuna toasted on baguette. If I'm feeling healthy, they have Cobb salad to go with their own homemade dressing, it's so colorful and fresh looking. Now off the secret menu if bulgogi! It comes with a salad and homemade dressing, delicious marinated bulgogi over rice and sesame seeds. Sometimes they have homemade kim chi but they will charge you extra! They have fridge full of different kinds of soda and shelf full of different chips. They usually get busy around noon because they are in an office area, so coming off peak times, you don't have to wait long.
If you don't want to spend $20+ on lunch in ritzy Chevy Chase, grab a sandwich at this little deli. I got the mozzarella veggie on ciabatta, and it was very fresh and delicious. They also have all kinds of chips and candy for afternoon snacking. This is a great alternative to a sit-down meal during your lunch break. I recommend it while you're in town.
