Satchmo's Bar & Grill - Chesterfield

Really good service, cocktails and eating! the menu new orleans cajun is available. we had tuna victories for an app that was delicious as the seafood spinat dips. also the jambalaya and the edofe were excellent. Finally, the shrimp tacos were very well joined together. in any case a place I will go back to. Curb-Attapete was a little underwhelming but everything else was made for that!

We are not from here, but we are very surprised. the place had a nice mood. it did not feel like a tourist trap. eating was great! great time overall!

Wonderful experience! delicious food and fantastic drinks. old fashion was perfect. steak was perfect and donuts were out of sight! service was fantastic!

This is our fifth experience in the satchmo bar grill. the first time was about 7 years ago and the experience was excellent. the food was high quality and innovatiw and the service was very good. every experience has become worse ever since. Last night, the only available table was a high peak in the bar area (although we had a reservation for standard seats) once we sat about 15 minutes before someone recognized us and said that they would take our table because the person who should help us was behind. we ordered a drink and then waited 10 minutes until our waitress finally went behind the bar and made the drinks themselves. we had heard from others that the bartender was overwhelmed (similar to an experience we had about 6 weeks ago. the fish and chips tasted as if the cooking oil was old and the garnel and crust fish in the edofe chewed. the only redeeming aspekte of the evening were the band games (the jumbo shrimp was energetic and our server that seemed to cover for everyone (she did, she collected tables, she hunted menus, she made cocktails. I would close the management at Satchmo’s to the place for a few days to clean it very well, organize and move most employees.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 10+ minutes for a table even though there were plenty of tables open. We had 3 infants and the hostess had us sitting next to the stage on a night where a live band was playing.
